Taiwan Philharmonic NSO 2018 WC Tour

By Ameilia Ho

So proud San Francisco-Taipei Sister City Committee hosts The National Symphony Orchestra from Taiwan visiting San Francisco.

The pre-reception of Taiwan Philharmonic  was successfully hosted by the San Francisco-Taipei Sister City committee tonight. General Dir. Ma and Dr. Talin Hsu warmly greeted all the honorable and distinguished guests.  Guests have spent an enjoyable & quality time chatting, it has been a very significant party.

Following the concert at 8:00p. Conductor Lu 呂紹嘉 & 24 years old young man, Principal Violin Tseng 曾宇謙,  and the NSO are finely-calibrated the Violin Concerto, Op.14 beautifully.  As the Johannes Brahms Symphony No.2 Op.73 ended, audiences  standing still gave a round of applause for more than 3 minutes.

It’s a milestone of NSO USA tour just as Johannes Brahms Quote

“A symphony is no joke” !

Congratulations to the Taiwan Philharmonic!
