Taiwan Philharmonic NSO 2018 WC Tour

Taiwan Philharmonic 2018 U.S. Tour held at Davies Symphony Hall, San Francisco, last night was a huge success! The Symphony’s conductor Shao-Chia Lu is the first prizes winner at three renowned international conductor competitions: Besancon (France), Pedrotti (Italy) and Kondrashin ( the Netherlands).

Last night’s Violin solo performed by Yu-Chief Tseng, he’s awarded the top winner at the XV International Tchaikovsky Violin Competition 2015. At the end of each performance, there were numerous applauds from audiences shouting Brova! Encore! It’s just marvelous!

The celebration dinner gathering was hosted by the San Francisco-Taipei Sister City Committee which serves as a cultural and economic link between the two cities. Dr. Ta-Lin Hsu is Chairman of the Committee.

Director Ma of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco welcomed Taiwan Philharmonic and all the honor guests who joined the Open ceremony cocktail and dinner gatherings. Welcome speeches presented by honor guests as: San Francisco Mayor, Taiwan Philharmonic CEO Kuo, CA State Treasurer John Chiang, Former Mayor Willy Brown, William Perry, former US Secretary of Defence. 

Taiwan Philharmonic 2018 US Tour has successfully promoted Taiwan Art Culture to the international stage.
